Mizuno has opened a new global flagship store where the innovation started more than 110 years ago – Osaka, Japan. Composed of seven levels, Mizuno Osaka Chayamachi is designed to promote a healthy, active lifestyle integrating sports as an essential component to everyday activities.
The street-facing first floor displays sports casual items from Mizuno’s newest sports style collection – 1906. Guests to the store can also test out the first-ever Baseball Virtual Reality Experience Booth and a new “Foot Care Station” designed to achieve improves in performance through insight gained from the foot.
What’s next for Mizuno?
The brand will continue to grow its retail footprint in Japan, as well as globally in select markets with sports focus ranging from training to running, swimming and golf. Fans in the U.S. and Canada can get a deeper look into the brand at the Mizuno Experience Center located in Atlanta, Georgia at The Battery.
