Mizuno Continues Partnership with BCRF for a sixth year

Peachtree Corners, GA – (May 3, 2023) –Mizuno, a global leader in sports apparel and equipment, is pleased to announce its continued partnership with the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF). The partnership aims to support the important work done by BCRF to prevent and cure breast cancer by advancing the world’s most promising research.

Mizuno has always understood that sports are so much more than just a game and aims to create gear with purpose. Mizuno’s brand philosophy says its mission is to serve a larger purpose to society through the advancement of sporting goods and through the promotion of sports; that philosophy runs through the veins of every initiative the brand approaches and is the leading drive for Mizuno’s continued partnership BCRF. BCRF is the largest private funder of breast cancer research in the world and continues to provide critical support for cancer research to fuel advances in tumor biology, genetics, prevention, treatment, metastasis, and survivorship. Check out BCRF’s website to learn more about the incredible work they are doing at www.bcrf.org.

Mizuno has been a proud partner of BCRF since 2017 and has donated over $200K to the organization, which includes this year’s annual donation of at least $60,000. This cumulative donation equates to 5,700 hours of BCRF research. With every sale of the products in our Project Zero Collection, we can further help support their mission.  Mizuno’s commitment to BCRF is driven by the shared belief that everyone deserves the chance to live a healthy and active life. Mizuno’s partnership with BCRF not only helps fund groundbreaking research but also raises awareness about breast cancer and encourages people to take action to support the cause.

This year’s Mizuno products that will feature the pink ribbon, an international symbol for breast cancer awareness, include the Project Zero Tee, Wave Rider 27 Project Zero running shoes, two golf hat variations, a golf bag, baseball cleats, and batting gloves. About Project Zero

Once Mizuno first partnered with BCRF, Project Zero was born. Project Zero’s core purpose is to turn one in eight women who will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime into zero in eight. One in eight means a friend, coach, mother, daughter, aunt, sister, teammate, friend, or loved one could be that one in your life. Project Zero started with a team of people looking for a cause to put a brand’s support behind and turned into a program that fits seamlessly with Mizuno’s core philosophy. If Project Zero educates a single woman to take the necessary steps for prevention or early detection, or if Project Zero puts one athlete back on the field and one supporter back in the stands, the entire program is considered a success. Because even one woman with breast cancer is one too many.
