OSAKA, JAPAN – (July 18, 2023) – Mizuno has revealed the new S.S. Lazio home and away kits for the 2023-2024 season. TRILOGY OF KITS TO CELEBRATE THE 50-YEAR ANNIVERSARY OF S.S. LAZIO FIRST SCUDETTO WIN.
The design of the S.S. Lazio home kit takes inspiration from the 1973-74 season kit to celebrate the 50-year anniversary of S.S. Lazio’s first Scudetto, the Italian Serie A national championship title driven by Tommaso Maestrelli. Taking the iconic eagle Olympia from the club crest and applying this in a modern way as a tonal embossed graphic to the front of the jersey, it delivers a classic yet modern twist that pays homage to the famous 1973-74 jersey.
The design of the new away kit takes inspiration from the Italian flag and the celebration of the 50-year anniversary of S.S. Lazio’s first Scudetto won with Chinaglia as a player in this team.
This is reflected in the stripes within the embossing at the front of the jersey and the stripes used on the cuff rib. The bold all-navy colorway is a reflection of the club’s strength and reinforces their courage to battle in this season’s UEFA Champions League.
The kits of the new collection will be produced out of 100% recyclable and breathable polyester. In the course of its sustainability concepts, S.S. Lazio and Mizuno want to contribute to reducing the carbon footprint together.

The jersey collection is rounded off by the new third jersey, which will be presented separately later in July in Auronzo di Cadore in the Dolomites.
