LINDSAY FLANAGAN AND SHEREE SHEA JOIN MIZUNO RACE TEAM

Norcross, Ga. (July 31, 2014) – Mizuno USA introduces two NCAA Division I All-Americans to the Mizuno Race Team roster – Lindsay Flanagan, University of Washington Husky, and Sheree Shea, Loyola Marymount Lion. The two join a strong Mizuno family of brand ambassadors, including Serena Burla, Christo Landry and Craig Leon, who exemplify the Mizuno philosophy and commitment to the sport of running.

“Lindsay and Sheree are the epitome of a Mizuno athlete and brand ambassador, thus it was an easy selection to add them to the roster. Not to mention we see tremendous success ahead as their training progresses,” said Chris Hollis, Grassroots Marketing Manager, Running, Mizuno USA. “Whether it is giving back to the community through running or clinching that major career milestone, it is motivating and inspiring to be able to be a part of their running adventures.”

“I laced up my first pair of Mizuno running shoes—a Christmas present from my competitive marathoner mom—when I was twelve years old,” said Shea. “Eleven years and over a hundred pairs of shoes later, I remain unwaveringly dedicated to the superior quality of the products and philosophy of fostering the growth and performance of competitive athletes. I am beyond excited to join the Mizuno family!”

Both Flanagan and Shea will join fellow teammates, Jennifer Bergman and Serena Burla, in Washington D.C. to begin training for the 2014/2015 Road Championships and the 2016 Olympic Trials.
