Johns Creek, GA (October 19, 2023) – The City of Johns Creek and the Johns Creek Chamber of Commerce jointly announced Mizuno USA Inc., a global leader in golf equipment, has officially broken ground on a new research and development testing center and tour-fit studio called The Foundry. The multimillion-dollar facility will be located at The Standard Club in the City of Johns Creek, Georgia.
“We are so excited that The Foundry is breaking ground at The Standard Club,” said Betsy Liermann, the Chair of the Johns Creek Chamber of Commerce. “This project is poised to become a wonderful addition to our business community.”
Headquartered in Peachtree Corners, Georgia, Mizuno USA Inc. is renowned for its expertise in performance golf equipment and its presence on professional golf tours. The new two-story, 3,600 square-foot Mizuno Golf Fitting and Training Facility will offer an unparalleled custom build service based on the procedures refined at the company’s renowned artisans’ factory in Yoro, Japan.

The Foundry experience at the Standard Club will be backed by the Mizuno Swing DNA fitting system. This proprietary technology matches a player’s unique swing DNA to a map of more than 50 iron shafts to arrive at a personalized fit and feel best suited to an individual player’s needs.
