Mizuno USA Volleyball signs accomplished athlete Lauren Carlini to their adept roster through 2024
Peachtree Corners, GA – (August 24, 2022) – Mizuno, a global leader in sports apparel and equipment, expands their talented female roster with the addition of Lauren Carlini. Lauren’s impressive resume is nothing less than remarkable as an established setter for the U.S. Women’s National Team. In light of Mizuno’s recent partnering with USA Volleyball lasting through the 2028 Olympics, along with their adept history and understanding of creating performance gear for all volleyball players, Lauren’s experience and background are sure to be an excellent addition to the Mizuno family.
Lauren’s experience with Mizuno throughout her career has created a partnership that just makes sense; she shared that “Wearing Mizuno and knowing the support and care that goes into providing the products really makes all the difference. I feel comfortable, prepared, and ready to compete at the highest level wearing Mizuno.”
Lauren grew up in Aurora, Illinois, with her two younger siblings. Her bond with volleyball goes back to her childhood when she began playing club volleyball at just six years old. As her love for the sport continued, her accomplishments followed as she made her mark. Lauren played NCAA Division I volleyball for the Wisconsin Badgers, collecting an accomplished list of honors.

Within her time as a college athlete, Lauren created a name for herself through numerous accomplishments. To name a few, she earned 2013 Champion NCAA Regional MVP, 2013 Big Ten Freshman of the Year, 2014, 2015 Big Ten Setter of the Year, and 2014, 2015, and 2016 AVCA First-Team All-American. Lauren’s college career was nothing less than a significant catalyst for progressing her career. Lauren is hopeful for what is to come and expressed, “I am excited to be able to grow and explore as a player and person through this partnership. Mizuno has already been so open and welcoming, and I can’t wait to see this partnership grow.”
Lauren has been a member of the U.S. Women’s National Team since 2016, has played professionally in Russia and Turkey, and is continuing her professional career overseas in Italy this upcoming season. While she expands her career far from home, she keeps her family close in personal ways, such as her jersey number, “I chose to be #7 because my dad, who is now retired, was a firefighter and his badge number was #7. I wanted to stick with our family’s lucky number!” Lauren will be repping Mizuno gear as she proceeds to excel in her career and positively influence the volleyball community for years to come.
